Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

1. General Policy

All purchases of tutoring services, packages, and membership plans are final and non-refundable.

By booking or purchasing services, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.

2. Individual Tutoring Sessions
  • Payments for individual sessions are non-refundable once booked

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in forfeiture of the session without refund

  • Failure to attend a scheduled session (“no-show”) will result in full charge with no refund

3. Tutoring Packages
  • All package purchases are non-refundable

  • Sessions must be used within the designated validity period (e.g., 30 days unless otherwise stated)

  • Unused sessions after expiration are forfeited without refund

  • Free or promotional sessions:

    • Have no cash value

    • Cannot be exchanged, transferred, or refunded

4. Monthly Memberships / Subscription Plans
  • Membership fees are non-refundable once charged

  • No refunds or partial credits will be issued for:

    • Unused sessions

    • Missed sessions

    • Early cancellation within a billing cycle

Cancellation Requirement
  • Memberships must be canceled at least 48 hours before the next billing date

  • Failure to cancel in time will result in automatic renewal and charges for the next billing cycle

5. Late Arrivals and Missed Sessions
  • Late arrivals will not extend session time

  • Missed sessions without proper notice will be forfeited and non-refundable

6. Company Cancellations

If Competent Nurse Academy LLC cancels a session due to:

  • Tutor unavailability

  • Emergency situations

Clients will be offered:

  • A rescheduled session OR

  • A credit toward a future session

(No monetary refunds will be issued unless required by law.)

7. Technical Issues
  • Clients are responsible for having a stable internet connection and working device

  • Refunds will not be issued for technical issues on the client’s end

  • If technical issues occur on the Company’s end, a reschedule or credit will be provided

8. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds or credits may be considered only in rare cases at the sole discretion of the Company, such as:

  • Verified emergencies

  • Documented extenuating circumstances

Approval is not guaranteed.

9. Disputes and Chargebacks
  • Clients agree to contact us first to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback

  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

    • Immediate suspension of services

    • Permanent account termination

10. Policy Acceptance

By purchasing services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.
